WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGThis position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of bulk propane and/or petroleum to customers. The driver is responsible for being aware of the customer’s requirements and maintaining adequate supplies of product in the storage tank(s). The incumbent ensures that deliveries are completed on a least cost basis, and that all associated documentation is accurately completed and returned to the base location for invoicing.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE- Class D Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
- 5 years of commercial driving experience
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use electronic devices
Mostly outdoors and behind the wheel of a truck. Physical activity includes operating, loading/unloading equipment, inspecting vehicles and equipment, walking, climbing, occasionally in awkward positions, in an environment characterized by temperature changes. This full-time role may involve working occasional irregular hours as needed; may include overtime, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, and emergency schedules. Handles hazardous products.
