Our client is a well established and growing fire company, seeking a senior position for an experienced engineer who can confidently lead projects on site, carry out full system installations, and commission fire alarm systems to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of fire alarm systems across commercial and residential projects
- Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix installation works
- Commissioning fire alarm systems in line with BS5839 and manufacturer requirements
- Acting as the lead engineer / project manager on site
- Liaising with clients, project managers, and subcontractors
- Ensuring installations are completed on time, within scope, and to specification
- Managing quality, compliance, and health experience within fire (and security) systems installation
- Proven experience commissioning addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
- Strong understanding of BS5839 standards and industry best practice
- Proven ability to project manage on site and lead installations
