About the Role

Our client is a well-established and growing fire and security specialist, delivering high-quality fire detection and life safety solutions across London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm Surveyor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Fire Alarm Surveyor or a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer looking to step away from the tools and progress into a more consultative, office and field-based role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys at customer premises across London and the South East.
  • Design and specify fire alarm systems in line with current British Standards and client requirements.
  • Prepare detailed quotations and cost estimates for customers.
  • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical advice.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
  • Attend customer meetings and support the sales process with technical expertise.
  • Maintain accurate survey documentation and reports.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience within the fire alarm industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and relevant regulations.
  • Experience carrying out surveys, estimating, or system design is desirable.
  • Senior Fire Alarm Engineers looking to transition into a surveying role are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
