Our client, a leading Events Company operating across prestigious racecourses nationwide, is looking for an experienced and organised Cashier Supervisor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong cash handling, supervisory, and administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced events environment.

The Role

As a Cashier Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing bar cash operations across multiple racecourse events, ensuring all tills and floats are accurately managed and accounted for. You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy during busy events while supporting the wider operations team with administration duties throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising cash operations across bars at national racecourses
  • Ensuring floats are maintained at minimal cash values in line with company procedures
  • Monitoring and reconciling till takings accurately
  • Using Microsoft Excel to track and manage cash data from multiple tills
  • Preparing and handing over cash securely to collection companies at the end of each shift
  • Completing weekly administration and reporting duties
  • Supporting event operations and maintaining high standards of compliance
  • Assisting with process improvements and cash control procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cash handling, cashiering, or supervisory roles
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in busy event environments
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Must be willing to work weekends regularly
  • Full UK Driving licence
