We are recruiting for a Technical Tutor in Fire & Security Systems to join a leading and well-established organisation based in South West London. The Role

As a Technical Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality training programmes to apprentices working towards the Fire, Emergency and Security Systems (FESS) Level 3 Standard. You'll be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences, providing technical guidance, and supporting learners throughout their development journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical training in Fire & Security Systems to apprentices
  • Support the management team in achieving training and development objectives
  • Coach, mentor and develop learners to successfully achieve the FESS Level 3 qualification
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials and learning resources
  • Provide classroom-based and virtual technical training sessions
  • Assist with the development and promotion of commercial training programmes
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures and industry standards
  • Maintain learner records and training documentation
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the training academy
  • Liaise with external organisations, clients and training providers
  • Provide careers advice and support apprentice recruitment activities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong technical background within the Fire & Security industry and a genuine passion for developing others.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience within the Fire & Security sector
  • Strong knowledge of Fire & Security systems installation and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage, motivate and support learners
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
