We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician to join a growing team delivering high-profile security projects across the EMEA region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with expertise in access control, CCTV, intrusion detection and integrated security systems who is looking to take the lead on complex installations and commissioning projects.

As a senior field technician, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of advanced electronic security systems while providing technical leadership and support to junior engineers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, label and test low-voltage cabling and security devices.
  • Configure, commission and maintain access control, CCTV, intrusion detection and intercom systems.
  • Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance on security systems.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics and project documentation.
  • Lead site activities and coordinate with project managers, customers and subcontractors.
  • Conduct system testing, inspections and client demonstrations.
  • Ensure all installations meet company, customer and industry standards.
  • Complete project documentation including test reports, redline drawings and service records.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians and field engineers.
  • Assist with project closeout activities and final commissioning.
What We're Looking For
  • ~3+ years' experience working with electronic security or low-voltage systems.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Access Control Systems
    • CCTV & Video Management Systems
    • Intrusion Detection Systems
    • Network-based Security Platforms
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
  • Full, valid driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the EMEA region.
  • EU Passport
Desirable
  • Manufacturer certifications such as C-Cure, Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Milestone or Avigilon.
  • CSCS, VCA or equivalent safety certification.
  • Networking knowledge including IP addressing, switches and network infrastructure.
  • Previous experience leading teams, subcontractors or site activities.
Travel Requirements

This role involves regular travel to customer sites across the EMEA region. Projects may require extended stays on-site, including long-term assignments. Weekend travel home cannot always be guaranteed and will depend on project requirements.
