We are recruiting a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Fitter with a strong electrical background and solid mechanical aptitude to support our site operations. This is a hands‑on role working across plant equipment, utilities, and site infrastructure. You’ll be part of a maintenance team focused on preventative maintenance, rapid response breakdown support, and continuous improvement — with a strong emphasis on safe working and good standards.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive breakdown repairs.
  • Strong electrical fault‑finding on industrial equipment (motors, starters, sensors, control panels).
  • Mechanical maintenance including bearings, pumps, gearboxes, belts, chains, etc.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps and pumping systems, pneumatic systems and valves, basic hydraulics (desirable).
  • Support site Health & Safety requirements: Safe systems of work, Lock‑out/Tag‑out (LOTO), Risk assessments and permits.
  • Record maintenance tasks and PM completion (CMMS / job sheets).
  • Assist with improvements and reliability upgrades to reduce downtime.
  • Occasional travel to other company sites when required (average 2 times per month).

Qualifications:

  • Strong electrical background (industrial maintenance preferred).
  • Good mechanical knowledge and practical ability.
  • Experience working in a production/industrial environment.
  • Ability to fault‑find under pressure and work independently.
  • Strong safety mindset and tidy working standards.
  • Full driving license (due to occasional site travel).
  • Experience with pumps, dosing systems, pipework, or tank farms.
  • Pneumatics and/or hydraulics experience.
  • Experience using a maintenance system (CMMS).
  • Forklift, IPAF, confined space, or other relevant certs.
