What you’ll do
- Lead, develop and structure the Accounting Team
- Drive process improvements across monthly and annual reporting
- Oversee all UK reporting into both the UK business and group
- Manage cashflow, working capital and forecasting tools
- Lead statutory audit and ensure compliant reporting
- Strengthen controls, balance sheet integrity and financial governance
- Partner with payroll to ensure clean reconciliations
- Implement policy, systems and automation improvements
- Support M&A projects and financial due-diligence
- Lead a programme to simplify UK legal entity structures
What we’re looking for
- Experience leading a team up to 6
- Strong SAP knowledge
- Excellent grasp of UK & international accounting standards
- Proven track record in process, control and reporting improvements
- Able to influence and engage SLT, auditors and global stakeholders
- Comfortable leading through cultural change
- Spanish language skills at a professional working level — required
