The Opportunity

We’re looking for a highly organised, detail-driven Project Support Officer to join a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment supporting critical programmes within the Defence/National Security space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, enjoys keeping projects on track, and can confidently support senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project mobilisation and initiation activities, including proposal coordination
  • Maintain project financial data, reports, and performance metrics
  • Produce and continuously improve weekly highlight reports
  • Coordinate meetings, manage stakeholder diaries, and capture actions and outcomes
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Project Managers
  • Support PMO processes and ensure documentation standards are maintained
  • Maintain key project artefacts including RAID logs, project plans, budgets, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Organise project events and key milestone activities

Requirements

  • Active DV Clearance (essential)
  • Proven experience in a Project Support, PMO, or Project Administration role
  • Experience working within a structured delivery or project environment
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with project reporting, governance, and documentation
  • Confident supporting senior stakeholders and coordinating across teams
  • Ability to work full-time on-site
