Project Manager – Permanent – Up to £65,000 – Worcester FryerMiles are working with a specialist engineering business to recruit a Project Manager to join their team in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing software, firmware and hardware projects, delivering projects to agreed quality, time and budget while developing strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Manage software, firmware and hardware projects from planning through to delivery. Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality, timescales and budgets. Manage project risks, issues, variances and commercial requirements. Allocate tasks and manage engineering resource, efficiency and delivery. Manage and appraise engineers, identifying training and development requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Identify new opportunities and support bids for existing clients. Produce technical bid content including plans, estimates and processes. Support commercial budgeting, negotiation and bid submissions. Communicate project status and performance internally and externally. Support the recruitment and assessment of engineering staff. Essential Experience: Previous Project Management experience within a technical or engineering environment. Experience managing software, firmware and/or hardware projects. Strong project and change management skills. Experience managing projects against quality, time and budget. Experience managing technical teams and individuals. Strong risk, issue and commercial management experience. Experience managing client relationships. Bid preparation, negotiation and submission experience.
