FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a top 10 accounting and consulting firm to assist with their recruitment of a Senior Audit Associate to join their team in Reading, Berkshire.
The successful candidate will work within the client's non-for-profit team, which is a multi-disciplinary team including audit, accounting, tax, risk management, evaluation, governance and consultancy specialists as well as grants specialists.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with or lead the planning of audit engagements, including risk assessments, developing audit strategy, and identifying key audit areas.
- Perform and supervise audit fieldwork across a variety of sectors in accordance with UK GAAP, IFRS, or relevant standards.
- Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and compliant with audit methodology and professional standards.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients during audits, addressing queries and providing updates on audit progress.
- Prepare draft audit reports and financial statements for manager or partner review.
Required experience:
- ACA/ACCA qualification essential.
- 1-2 years + post qualified experience.
- A passion for charities, non-profit and social purpose sector.
