They're on the lookout for a confident and capable Accounts Receivable Clerk to take full ownership of their AR function. What you'll be doing:
- Taking full ownership of the accounts receivable process across the group
- Ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly controlled
- Managing customer invoicing in line with contracts and company policies
- Posting and reconciling bank transactions daily
- Allocating payments and reconciling control accounts with precision
- Monitoring incoming payments and keeping the general ledger spot on
- Investigating and resolving any AR discrepancies quickly and efficiently
- Assisting senior management with cash flow forecasting
- Acting as the go-to contact for all customer and venue payment queries - including EPOS and payment gateway issues
- Escalating more complex issues to senior stakeholders as needed
- Producing regular AR reports, including aged debtors, bad debt analysis and cash flow updates
What we're looking for:
- Part-qualified or actively studying AAT / CIMA / ACCA / ACA
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar preferred
- At least 3 years' experience in a dedicated AR role
- Previous exposure to the hospitality sector - ideally restaurants, venues or events
- Strong working knowledge of Xero (or similar) and confident using Excel
