FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading Global brand to assist with their recruitment of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team based in Wandsworth, London.
The successful candidate will be a key player in the Finance team, managing relationships with both internal colleagues and external suppliers. This role covers all facets of the supplier payment process, but most importantly ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all supplier payments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the timely capture of supplier invoices.
- Completion of supplier statement reconciliations.
- Online interactions with supplier customer billing portals.
- Timely and accurate forecasting of payments due.
- Preparation of payment runs.
- Managing and maintaining effective relationships with all supplier contacts.
- Ensure all invoices and supplier reconciliations are filed and saved down to OneDrive.
- Dealing with supplier concerns, avoiding the escalation of complaints wherever possible.
- Assist with queries with members of the finance team at month end.
Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 1 years' experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience working with a fully integrated ERP System (Sage is preferable but not essential).
- Strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy, in all aspects of the work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both team members, suppliers and the relevant contacts within the business.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and apply business strategy to manage suppliers effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
