Job Description

IT Support Engineer – Orpington – On-site with occasional travel to customer sites – £28k – £35k

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with an award winning, integrated solutions provider to assist with their recruitment of an On-site L1 & L2 Engineer.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support customers on-site via email, phone or ticketing system
  • Overseeing technical support to other sites where issues can't be resolved remotely
  • Acting as the initial point of contact for diagnostics, incident logging and configurations
  • Contributing to log all calls via a ticketing system
  • Provide out-of-hours support on-site to customers as and when required
  • Ability to create reports and document issues whilst escalating when required
  • Liaising with senior teams for complex issues and learn the troubleshooting steps for new users
  • Allocate complex issues to the relevant teams

Experience/Qualification:

  • 1-2 years in a proven background in IT support and managed service delivery
  • CompTIA A+, Network A+ or Microsoft Certified
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Office365 and Networking
  • Excellent understanding in troubleshooting hardware, software and networking
  • Willing to travel to customer sites as and when needed
  • Must hold a full driving licence
