FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a global hospitality group to assist with their recruitment of a Global Financial Controller to join their team in Battersea, London. As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will take ownership of US financial reporting and compliance, while supporting the wider global finance agenda. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will drive improvements in reporting, controls, and commercial insight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead US financial reporting and compliance across multiple states and jurisdictions
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and global balance sheet
- Manage local tax compliance (sales tax, property tax, licences) with external advisors
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and accounting policies
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors and manage audit processes
- Support treasury activities including cash flow, banking, and funding requirements
- Provide insightful financial analysis and commentary to senior leadership
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Contribute to Board reporting and strategic finance projects
