Finance Analyst – Newbury, Berkshire (Hybrid) – £35,000 – £40,000 + Study & benefits

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a market leading professional service provider in Newbury Berkshire, to assist with their recruitment of a Finance Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Financial planning cycle and Financial and management reporting, working closely with shareholders and reporting to the Finance Business Partner .

This is a new role in the business due to a period of sustained growth and we are looking for a someone who is self motivated, can work on their own and as part of team, holds excellent communication skills and is looking to join a fast paced and growing business.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the FBP in preparing weekly and monthly reports using in house systems and Excel
• Reviewing and analysing financial information. Investigating anomalies and providing explanations on variances that have occurred against budget.
• Analysing monthly results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.
• Involved in budget process and forecasting cycles.
• Assisting members of the finance team throughout the month in ad hoc reporting
• Developing automated solutions to improve transaction processing.
