FryerMiles are excited to be working with a leading UK Management Consultancy to assist with their recruitment of an experienced Approvals & Assurance Lead to join a high profile Defence programme based in Corsham. This is an excellent opportunity for a security-cleared professional to support governance, assurance, and approvals activity within a complex secure environment.
This role requires DV Clearance and is primarily onsite 4 days per week, with an expected move to 3 core onsite days from July (Monday to Wednesday), plus additional onsite attendance on Thursdays as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead approvals and assurance activity across the programme
- Manage governance processes, ensuring timely submissions and approvals
- Coordinate assurance reviews, audits, and compliance requirements
- Engage with internal stakeholders, delivery teams, and senior leadership
- Track actions, risks, and dependencies relating to approvals processes
- Ensure programme documentation meets required standards and controls
- Support continuous improvement of assurance and governance frameworks
- Proven experience in approvals, assurance, governance, or PMO leadership roles
- Background within Defence, Government, or other highly secure environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience operating in complex programme environments
- Active DV Clearance essential
