FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a Major Defence Prime to assist with their recruitment of multiple WINTEL Engineers to join a large Defence programme, supporting the delivery and integration of secure Windows and Intel-based enterprise infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly secure environment, helping to deliver critical national security capabilities.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for integrating, configuring and supporting WINTEL platforms, ensuring they meet operational, security and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate WINTEL platforms into secure enterprise environments.
- Deploy, configure and support Windows Server infrastructure.
- Work closely with infrastructure, network, security and project teams to deliver integrated technical solutions.
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides and governance artefacts.
- Support platform implementation, upgrades, patching and ongoing operational maintenance.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide effective technical resolutions.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with programme governance, security standards and best practices.
