FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a global technology company to assist with their recruitment of an Assistant Tax Manager to join their team in Reading, Berkshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local corporate tax reporting obligations for multiple jurisdictions as well as preparing tax disclosures for financial statements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and supporting to submit corporation tax returns for several jurisdictions including working with external advisors
- Locating accounting information within the ERP systems to provide information for tax returns
- Getting support, including working with the wider finance team, and preparing analysis for tax sensitive items
- Preparing tax disclosures for statutory accounts including deferred tax calculations
- Reviewing and analysing tax balances for financial statements
- Preparing tax account reconciliations
- Preparing journals for tax accounts
- Assist with providing information for tax audits
- Organising payment of taxes
Experience required:
- 2-3 years post qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA)
- "Top 10 UK" accounting firm experience is preferred
- Experience of working with or in international groups
- Experience in preparation of corporate tax returns
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and tax accounting skills
- Strong IT skills, advanced excel skills (experience with using ERP systems is required)
- Agility and flexibility, with focus to work to tight deadlines and be able to handle large volumes of data
