Management Accountant- Marlow, Buckinghamshire - 6 Month contract - £250 - £275 per day (via Umbrella company)
FryerMiles is working with a leading SME company to hire a Management Accountant on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hands-on Accountant to help optimise financial processes and ensure accurate transactional flows within the organisation.
The duties of the Management Accountant include:
- Management Account preparation and support to the management accountant as required.
- Ensuring that any unallocated items are investigated proficiently and quickly.
- Enter purchase ledger invoices onto Sage & Eque2.
- Posting of sales invoices in sage
- Posting of Purchase invoices.
- Reconcile Supplier statements.
- Complete a weekly payment run.
- Carry out CIS returns
- Reconciling bank statements.
- Answering supplier queries in a timely manner.
- Processing of Sub-Contractor payment applications and accounting for Retention.
- Experience using Eque2 and Sage 50 desirable but not essential.
- Posting of Journals.
- Ability to develop and sustain relationships with suppliers.
- Confident and effective telephone skills when taking calls as required.
- Confident use of Microsoft Excel including using VLOOKUP\'s and other formulas.
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to
- Experience working within Accounts in the Construction Industry/New homes building industry.
- Knowledge of the construction industry, CIS scheme and VAT reversal scheme.
