Be the legal lead on a brand-new investment proposition at a fast-growing digital bank. A well-capitalised digital bank is gearing up to launch a new investment proposition and needs an experienced in-house lawyer to support it. This is a rare chance to step to be the trusted voice of legal on an entirely new product line, working closely with the business and a small but highly effective legal team.
The role will involve leading the regulatory and legal framework for the FCA-regulated investment product, including the variation-of-permissions process and ongoing compliance. You will be maintaining client-facing terms and conditions, and managing the legal relationship with the wealth platform custodian.
We're looking for someone with a strong in-house background, or a private practice lawyer who has worked consistently with retail investment clients. You could have experience from a bank, digital wealth platform, or retail-facing asset manager. You should be confident with FCA regulatory frameworks and some commercial contracts and third-party platform agreements.
