A new role has arisen for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a dynamic team in the financial services sector. This position, based ideally in the West Midlands but with consideration for London, offers a 12-month contract with the potential for extension. The role involves working on a variety of commercial contracts, a large proportion being major IT supplier contracts but also including software agreements and financial services collaborations. The small legal team is known for its supportive environment, humour, and a strong sense of camaraderie, making it an excellent place to work.
Our client is seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3 years PQE but could be much more senior, who possesses a broad skillset in commercial contracts, particularly within the financial services industry. Understanding of regulatory perspectives and some experience of EBA PRA requirements, material outsourcing, and critical supply contracts is essential. The ideal candidate will be confident working on transformation projects.
