An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior in-house lawyer to join the legal team of a highly regarded investment management business. Working closely with the General Counsel and senior leadership, you'll play a key role in advising on strategic initiatives, funds and investment management, corporate governance, regulatory developments and a broad range of commercial and transactional matters across multiple jurisdictions. This is a visible role offering genuine influence within a collaborative, high-performing environment.

You’ll provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to senior stakeholders, support governance across group entities, advise on new business initiatives and acquisitions, and partner closely with Compliance and Risk to help drive business objectives while effectively managing legal risk. The position offers a varied workload spanning corporate, regulatory, fund product, investment management and transactional matters.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ PQE gained either in a major law firm in the funds, FS regulatory or corporate team or in-house in asset management. With strong commercial judgement and a natural drive and curiosity, you will have the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. This role would suit a proactive lawyer who enjoys working in a small, dynamic legal team, is comfortable leading projects and mentoring others, and is looking for a broad, strategic in-house position with significant exposure to the business.
