A senior in-house opportunity for an employment litigation solicitor with strong restrictive covenant and team move experience to join a leading financial services business.
This role sits within a small, high-calibre legal team supporting a fast-growing division of the business. You will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, taking ownership of complex employee competition matters and providing strategic, commercial advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on the enforceability and scope of restrictive covenants
- Managing team move disputes and related High Court litigation
- Drafting cease and desist letters and pre-action correspondence
- Negotiating settlement and release agreements
- Partnering closely with HR on risk mitigation and process improvement
- Delivering training to HR and business teams
- Managing external counsel and reporting to senior leadership
About you:
- UK-qualified employment litigation solicitor
- Strong experience in restrictive covenants and employee competition disputes
- High Court litigation and/or complex pre-action experience
- Background in private practice or in-house (financial services or regulated environment)
- Commercial, pragmatic approach with strong stakeholder skills
