This is a strong opportunity for a structured finance or securitisation lawyer to join a leading financial services organisation in a broad, high‑quality in‑house role supporting treasury, capital optimisation and funding activity. This position sits within a specialist legal team advising senior stakeholders across finance and treasury functions on complex structured finance transactions and related regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on structuring, negotiation and execution of structured finance transactions, including securitisations, asset sales, risk transfer transactions and insurance‑linked structures.
  • Support capital optimisation initiatives and draft and negotiate transaction documentation.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting structured finance.
  • Manage external counsel and develop and maintain internal legal templates, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • UK qualified solicitor with at least 4 years experience in structured finance or securitisation.
  • Derivatives experience is a bonus.
  • Confident working in a fast‑paced, transactional environment.
  • Looking for first in‑house move or step‑up within financial services.
