About The Role

Role Purpose
As a Product Owner, you will help develop our merchant experience for our international marketplace business. This is an exciting time to join Fruugo as we continue our journey to become a leading marketplace for cross‑border trade. Merchants are critical to our success, and the merchant experience programme you’ll be part of is central to our future goals and ambitions. You’ll be working at the intersection of users, business, and technology with plenty of scope for innovation and fresh thinking.
Main Responsibilities Include
- Use objectives and key results to ensure the delivery of strategy and to create and maintain the structure for your teams.
- Put data front and centre in all you do and develop product KPIs to enable your team and the business to drive improvement, optimisation, and to be an integral part of your product strategy.
- Conduct weekly customer interviews and research activities to continuously validate problems, test solutions, and inform product decisions.
- Using facilitated workshops to build shared knowledge across teams, stakeholders and engineering to ensure successful outcomes.
- Be a facilitator and a cheerleader for the Agile process within your team.
Experience Required
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar Product Ownership role, experience of e‑commerce marketplace or B2B e‑commerce.
- Desirable is experience with merchant onboarding and integration processes.
- Knowledge of and preferably experience in objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Experience with communicating the needs of the business as outcomes.
- Experience with user story mapping process and Opportunity Solution Trees.
Skills
- A great communicator in all forms, it's a bonus if you can speak Mandarin.
- A great facilitator, able to discover and understand stakeholders’ desired outcomes.
- Able to engage with and hold your own in a discussion with technical engineering teams.
