Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Lead the migration from legacy PHP systems to a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS, S3, DynamoDB) using Terraform (IaC)
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to enable efficient delivery
- Contribute to AI-enabled software development, including AI-assisted coding, testing, and feature delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused products
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices and engineering excellence
Requirements:
- Strong commercial experience in full-stack development with TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Experience working with or migrating from legacy PHP systems would be ideal
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML integration or AI-assisted development workflows
- Ability to mentor others and contribute to a high-performing engineering culture
