You will be responsible for building, operating, and improving large-scale cloud environments that support critical digital platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and operating highly available cloud environments using public cloud platforms
  • Building and maintaining secure, resilient network architectures (virtual networks, routing, firewalls, load balancing)
  • Working closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable infrastructure
  • Influencing technical direction across dependent engineering teams to improve platform reliability and delivery
  • Creating automated provisioning and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code
  • Continuously improving platform architecture through modern cloud engineering practices
  • Managing cloud resources efficiently while meeting governance and compliance requirements
  • Supporting and mentoring other engineers to promote high standards of engineering practice
  • Diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and platform issues across environments

Required experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • 5+ years of experience with CI/CD systems (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, etc.)
  • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in at least one modern language (e.g. Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust)
  • 3+ years working with container platforms and orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker)
  • 3+ years using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform

Nice to have:

  • Strong understanding of modern engineering practices (Git-based workflows, DevOps, observability, automation)
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments using tools such as Jira or Confluence
  • Familiarity with open-source tooling and communities
  • Experience with cloud security, vulnerability scanning, and risk management tools
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts for large-scale, container-based platforms
