A great opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer to join a fast-moving, product-led web platform team focused on improving the tools, infrastructure, and overall developer experience used across multiple web engineering squads. This isn’t a firefighting role - as a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be building and refining the systems that help other engineers move faster. The work spans both frontend and backend-leaning web engineering, centred around improving deployability, observability, and testability. You’ll be unpicking dependencies, tightening up build tooling, and creating cleaner, more reliable ways for teams to ship and test their applications.

You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers across the platform to shape and deliver improvements from initial concept through to rollout. Engineers here are trusted to make decisions, share best practice, and take true ownership - whether that’s optimising bundles, introducing better visual regression tests, or smoothing out a rough edge in the developer experience.

Key Requirements:
  • Strong background in frontend engineering with a focus on modern web applications
  • Deep commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React (experience with Next.js is ideal)
  • Solid understanding of the Node ecosystem and tooling (NPM and related build tools)
  • Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining test tooling (e.g. Jest, Playwright)
  • Bonus: experience supporting web applications in production environments
  • Comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders and sharing best practice
  • Experience working in agile teams and taking features or improvements from design through to release

This contract starts ASAP for an initial 6-month term, with strong scope to extend. You can be based anywhere in the UK, with the option to work hybrid in London if you prefer. If you’re a Full Stack Engineer who enjoys improving tooling, reducing friction for other developers, and taking end-to-end ownership of meaningful technical improvements, this role should be a strong match.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, or age.
