A contract opportunity for an experienced Head of Delivery to step into a fractional interim role, supporting senior leadership across a complex technology environment. This position focuses on improving delivery consistency, embedding a modern delivery model, and ensuring strong execution across multiple platforms and application teams.

The Head of Delivery will operate at senior leadership level, acting as the escalation point for delivery across engineering and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving agile adoption, setting standards and ways of working, and embedding a scalable delivery framework across the organisation. This role is central to improving delivery maturity and ensuring teams are aligned and executing effectively.

The Head of Delivery will also manage and develop delivery leads, including line management responsibilities, while overseeing cross-team delivery across multiple workstreams. A key part of the role is ensuring priorities are clear, dependencies are managed, and delivery remains consistent in a complex environment.

At senior level, the Head of Delivery will engage directly with C-suite stakeholders, translating delivery progress into clear, structured updates and managing expectations across the business.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Head of Delivery, Delivery Director or similar in complex environments
  • Strong experience driving agile adoption and implementing modern delivery models
  • Experience setting delivery standards, governance and ways of working at scale
  • Background in regulated and/or highly controlled environments
  • Experience overseeing delivery across multiple platforms and applications
  • Line management experience within delivery teams
  • Strong stakeholder management with experience operating at C-suite level
  • Ability to manage multiple teams, priorities and dependencies across delivery
  • Experience working in hybrid, distributed environments
