Fruition Group are representing a boutique technology consultancy who are specialists at delivering cutting-edge solutions for public and private sector clients. They are known as the "Knights in Shining Armour". We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer to land ASAP. You will be working on a project which involves owning the development of React Native & Electron apps for a very well-known Blockchain business that runs peer-to-peer with zero central servers. (Don’t worry, Blockchain experience not needed!).
Key Skills required:
- Architect clean, modular and scalable application foundations shared across mobile and desktop platforms.
- Build high-performance cross-platform UI/UX for messaging, file sharing, video calls and collaborative tools.
- Implement robust local-first data models where the local device is the source of truth, including conflict resolution and offline-first flows.
- Integrate applications with the Holepunch/Pear stack, including Hypercore, Hyperdrive and Hyperswarm.
- Optimise performance across caching, background tasks, synchronisation queues, retries and error recovery.
- Contribute native modules for iOS and Android where required.
- Deliver production-ready applications end-to-end, including packaging, deployment, testing and monitoring.
- Write reliable, well-tested code with strong unit and end-to-end test coverage.
- Ability to contribute native modules (iOS/Android) when required.
