We're working with a leading organisation in Leeds on a critical data centre migration to Azure, and are looking for a contract Infrastructure Engineer with strong Azure cloud migration experience to support this high-impact project.

You'll be joining a cloud transformation team delivering the full migration of legacy infrastructure into Azure. This is a hands-on role where you'll help shape and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure aligned with Microsoft best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the migration of on-premise infrastructure into Azure.
- Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks, including VWAN.
- Apply cloud security best practices across infrastructure and services.
- Collaborate closely with architecture and security teams to ensure a secure, scalable cloud foundation.
- Troubleshoot networking, performance, and connectivity issues during migration.
Skills required:
- Must have: Proven experience in cloud migration projects, ideally large-scale data centre migrations - Azure
- Solid knowledge of cloud security principles and Microsoft best practices.
- Strong scripting/automation knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, ARM/Bicep/Terraform - a plus).
Added bonus
- Exposure to Microsoft Service Fabric.
- Interest or experience working with OpenAI tools and services via Azure.
