This is an opportunity to lead a large-scale ERP delivery portfolio within a complex enterprise environment undergoing significant digital and operational transformation. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping delivery strategy, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving business-critical ERP programmes across finance, HR, procurement, and operational functions.
Working within a high-performing technology environment, you'll influence senior stakeholders, champion agile delivery practices, and help modernise enterprise systems that support major UK operations and infrastructure services.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a portfolio of ERP programmes and projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery across business change, technical implementation, governance, financial management, testing, and deployment.
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary delivery team including Project Managers, Delivery Leads, Developers, SMEs, and third-party suppliers.
- Drive prioritisation, roadmap planning, resource allocation, and dependency management across the portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and technology leadership teams.
- Support agile transformation initiatives and promote continuous improvement across delivery practices.
- Ensure projects align with strategic business objectives and deliver measurable value.
- Provide portfolio reporting, risk management, and governance oversight through collaboration with PMO and wider IT leadership.
- Proven experience leading complex ERP portfolios, programmes, or large-scale enterprise technology delivery functions.
- Strong background delivering ERP transformation projects across areas such as H2R, O2C, P2P, and R2R.
- Experience managing large cross-functional delivery teams within enterprise environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and traditional project delivery methodologies.
- Strong governance, budgeting, resource planning, and portfolio management capability.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Workfront, or Power BI is advantageous.
- Relevant project, programme, or agile certifications such as PRINCE2, Scrum, or SAFe preferred.
