A brilliant opportunity for an Android Developer to join a highly product-focused team building one of the most visible and widely used mobile applications in the UK. This isn’t a place where you’re tweaking legacy apps or stuck doing maintenance. You’ll be at the heart of launching new features from scratch - working closely with product designers, backend engineers, and other mobile developers to deliver beautiful, reliable, and responsive user experiences that scale.
You’ll take ownership across the entire lifecycle - from shaping designs and prototypes through to architecture, implementation, and release - while also helping raise the bar in code quality, performance, and accessibility. The Android stack is fully Kotlin-based, with a strong emphasis on modular, testable code using MVVM, Hilt, and clean architecture. This is a mature engineering culture where Android isn’t treated as a second-class citizen - mobile is core to the product, and the team cares deeply about user feedback, technical excellence, and shipping regularly.
Key Requirements:- Strong commercial experience building Android apps in Kotlin
- Comfortable working across design, architecture, and deployment
- Strong grasp of modern Android patterns - MVVM, DI (Hilt/Dagger), clean architecture
- Experience scaling apps for large user bases with a focus on performance and accessibility
- Comfortable in agile, cross-functional product teams
- Passionate about delivering clean, usable features that improve people’s lives
This is a fully UK-remote contract with the option to work hybrid in London if preferred. If you’re looking for an Android contract where you can write elegant code, work with great people, and see your work ship fast - this could be the one.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, or age.
