Frugaldom is a rewilding project based in Kirkcowan, Newton Stewart, Dumfries & Galloway, United Kingdom. Specialising in promoting and practicing sustainable living, Frugaldom is committed to fostering thrifty and resource‑conscious lifestyles. The 12 acre site is completely off‑grid and volunteers should get in touch prior to applying to make sure they are familiar with what the site has to offer.

Volunteers will be invited to participate in various hands‑on projects related to the company’s sustainable living initiatives. Daily tasks include helping with the resident animals (ponies, goats, cats) while there are always a wide variety of running repairs from fencing to painting or gardening.

Please note – this is not a paid job but rather a work‑in‑exchange for providing free park‑up for the right candidate (campervan or motorhome). You will only be asked to help for a minimum of one or so Mon‑Fri, leaving plenty of time to explore this beautiful part of south west Scotland.
