We are looking for experienced MIG/TIG Steel Welders with an Engineering and Manufacturing background.
The skills and knowledge that we are looking to hire are as follows:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components used in trailer construction
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Operate welding equipment and tools with precision to ensure high-quality welds
- Carry out fabrication, cutting, grinding and finishing of metal components
- Inspect welds for strength and precision, performing necessary rework if required
- Work within production deadlines while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship
- Follow safety procedures, ensuring PPE is worn and all tasks are completed safely
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in manufacturing and welding within an industrial setting
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to welding
- Competency in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques with experience in steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
- Adherence to health and safety regulations within a manufacturing setting
- Relevant welding certifications (preferred but not essential)

39 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 15:00 and Friday 06:00 to 11:00.
