We are looking for experienced MIG/TIG Steel Welders with an Engineering and Manufacturing background. The skills and knowledge that we are looking to hire are as follows:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components used in trailer construction
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
  • Operate welding equipment and tools with precision to ensure high-quality welds
  • Carry out fabrication, cutting, grinding and finishing of metal components
  • Inspect welds for strength and precision, performing necessary rework if required
  • Work within production deadlines while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship
  • Follow safety procedures, ensuring PPE is worn and all tasks are completed safely

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing and welding within an industrial setting
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to welding
  • Competency in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques with experience in steel fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Good standard of written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations within a manufacturing setting
  • Relevant welding certifications (preferred but not essential)
