Primarily serving hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital firms since 2021, Skematic is breaking barriers to offer a solution to drive efficiencies for compliance teams navigating the ever-changing complexities of regulation in capital markets.
We are seeking a Business Development Representative in the UK to drive Skematic's regional sales efforts and grow our market share in EMEA in the compliance space. Specifically, as a Business Development Representative - UK at Skematic, you will:
- Drive revenue growth by generating leads and securing meetings so our sales execs can focus on closing deals.
- Make a high volume of cold calls each day to prospects.
- Grow Skematic’s market share by seeking out opportunities and converting prospects into qualified leads.
- Set appointments for AE’s & CRO and track metrics and performance against set targets.
- Work internally with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of all communications with prospects.
- Maintain a high level of competence using sales sequencing and CRM tools.
Successful hire will have a clear career trajectory to a Sales Executive position with the company. To get there, a candidate should possess:
- Previous experience in a high-volume outbound sales role (preferred).
- Experience working in Financial Services, RegTech, Compliance, or Fintech and selling to those clientele (preferred).
- A desire to make money for Skematic and themselves.
- A track record of high achievement and the desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
- Self-starter mentality with an ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection daily.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The utmost professionalism, conducting yourself with a positive demeanor.
- The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better.

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN GREATER LONDON. Candidates should have the ability to commute to the Marylebone office 3x a week. Salary: base salary is experience dependent and can range from £48,000 - £58,000 a year + commission.
