Our client is a dynamic SME Business (Approx £20m Divisional Business Unit) operating within the Manufacturing Industry and forming part of a larger European owned international Group.
As part of the continued expansion for the UK Sales, Distribution and Service Business based in Warwickshire, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the companies first full time Finance Hire.
This position will work closely with the UK Managing Director, will lead and be supported by a Part Time Finance Clerk covering the below duties.

Maintain the General Ledger Entry updated at all times, so that the financial statements of company are available in a timely and accurate way.

Ensure proper month-end and year-end close processing.

Process Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions.

Reconcile bank statements.

Maintain the Fixed Assets’ ledger.

File periodically all the appropriate tax returns.

Complete periodic reporting requirements of the Group Finance Team.

Process payroll by interfacing with internal staff and, if applicable, with an external payroll processing company.

Forecast cash-flow needs / surpluses.

Coordinate with independent accounting firms to ensure timely annual audits, if any.

Understand and implement proper internal controls, in accordance with the group’s policies and control procedures.

Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and analyze "actual vs budget" deviations.

Oversee tax compliance according to legal requirements, group policies and procedures.

Oversee risk management including relationship with insurance companies, maintenance of proper coverage, as well as credit control management.

Participate in the legal review of all kinds of contracts, when requested by the Managing Director UK and in coordination with the Legal Department.

Support the rest of the organization as needed and assist the MD manage all admin aspects of the business/ office., Salary From

This client is equally open to Qualified, Part Qualified and QBE alike with the focus being on securing the right candidate and cultural fit to the UK business.
Previous experience gained within a similar position covering aspects of Financial / Management Accounting is key as whilst supported by a European based FD this position will be the lead finance role on site.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key as candidates will be required to work closely with the MD and other non finance professionals to help them understand the numbers and drive growth and improvement.
Experience of ERP systems such at SAP, Dynamics Nav / Business Central is desirable as the business do have a systems migration pending for Q4 2025 however this is not essential as a good level of IT literacy can be demonstrated
This role promises to be varied and progressive with excellent opportunity to play a lead role in UK Finance but also assist the MD with other wider duties / tasks / projects.
A basic salary of £40,000 to £50,000 (DOE) coupled with Bonus and study support for those not already qualified and or wishing to study towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA can be offered.
