This role is central to driving scientific excellence, product innovation, and commercial differentiation across the organisation’s global footprint.

The Role

  • Poultry Nutrition & Formulation Strategy: Lead the development of precision nutrition strategies, incorporating nutrient speciation, functional feed additives, and gut health optimization across diverse production environments. Oversee the formulation and validation of poultry diets across geographies, ensuring performance, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Continuously refine nutrient matrices using latest research insights, digestibility coefficients, and raw material variability models. Evaluate the mode of action and efficacy of feed additives (e.g. enzymes, probiotics, mycotoxin binders, organic acids) through in vitro, in vivo, and field validation.
  • Innovation & Product Development: Partner with global R&D to conceptualize, prototype, and commercialize novel nutritional solutions. Design and lead multi-site nutritional trials in commercial and research settings to substantiate product claims and develop positioning strategies. Interpret complex datasets (e.g. performance, gut morphology, microbiota, blood metabolites) to generate evidence-based recommendations.
  • Technical Leadership & Global Market Enablement: Provide strategic technical guidance to regional technical managers and nutritionists, ensuring global consistency with local adaptability. Develop high-level technical documentation, decision-support tools, and species-specific nutrient recommendation models. Influence internal strategy through technical representation in cross-functional steering groups (e.g. commercial, regulatory, innovation).
  • Strategic Commercial & Customer Engagement: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to multinational integrators, premix manufacturers, and strategic customers. Co-create value propositions with the commercial team, integrating ROI modelling, lifecycle nutrition, and sustainability metrics. Represent the company at global industry forums, technical conferences, and customer roundtables to position the company as a thought leader in poultry nutrition.
