FRS are recruiting a Financial Accountant for a well known brand based in Tamworth.
You will be joining a finance team of four & reporting into the Financial Controller who is very hands on & gets stuck in! The finance team has been newly formed & the FC is looking for a personable, knowledgeable & hard working individual who is happy to roll their sleeves up & get involved with some project work alongside the day to day tasks noted below.
Duties Will Include
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable: general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations, statement reconciliations, payment run preparation
- Reviewing financial documents and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Performing financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions
- Preparing and reviewing annual/quarterly budgets, forecasts and financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes: Prepayments, Accruals, Leases, balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities: Annual budgeting, cashflow forecasting
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Support the senior accountant with various accounting projects and tasks as required
