FRS are recruiting for a Shared Service Finance Manager for an exciting and ambitious business to be based on the outskirts of Dublin!

The role will suit an experienced Finance Manager with Shared Service experience, ideally within the hospitality sector. Other backgrounds will be considered but this would be highly advantageous!

Duties Will Include:

  • Lead and mentor the Shared Service finance teams (GL, AP)
  • Liaise with the CFO, Group and Regional Financial Controllers to provide business performance insights
  • Produce monthly reporting packs and weekly KPI updates for the business
  • Prepare and submit monthly bank reports and financial board papers
  • Set reporting timetables and ensure timely production of financial packs
  • Deliver commercial analysis, benchmarking, and recommendations based on financial data
  • Maintain oversight of the balance sheet and ensure robust financial controls
  • Drive process improvements to mitigate reporting risks
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through regular reviews
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely year-end audit completion
  • Oversee GL accountants and the Accounts Payable function
  • Perform ad hoc accounting and finance duties as required

Suitable Candidates Will Have / Be:

  • Qualified Accountant with proven experience in a similar finance or accounting role within hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of Property Management Systems
  • Excellent diligence and accuracy in data handling
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in accounting software (Sage X3), Procurement system and advanced Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
