FRS are recruiting a Part Time Payroll Officer for a reputable business based in Tamworth. Ideally, candidates will be able to commit to a 10am to 3pm working arrangement from Monday to Friday. This role will work alongside the Payroll Manager and be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of a portfolio of clients across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll runs. Suitable candidates will have worked within an Accountancy Practice previously and have experience using Sage and MS Excel.
Duties Will Include:
- Preparation and administration of weekly, fortnightly, four weekly, and monthly payrolls.
- Distribution of online payslips and documentation.
- Administration of PAYE, National Insurance deductions based on individual allowances.
- Mandatory deductions of student loans, SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP, court orders, and other legislative responsibilities.
- Year-end RTI submissions plus submission of annual reporting and tasks including final full payment summary (FPS).
- Production of employee P60 forms.
- Ensuring all RTI submissions are sent in accordance with HMRC regulations.
- Prepare and submit P11d benefits and expenses yearly returns, including collating information on various benefits such as cars, health insurance, accommodation, etc.
- Dealing with HMRC.
- Set up auto enrolment pension schemes.
