FRS are recruiting an Accounts Payable Manager for an exciting & ambitious business to be based on the outskirts of Dublin! The role will suit an experienced AP Manager who's ideally got experience within the hospitality sector - other backgrounds will be considered but this would be highly advantageous!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems and policies
- Monitor department work and drive efficiency improvements
- Lead, mentor, and develop the AP team, including performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
- Process invoices and maintain the supplier database
- Manage payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Oversee set-up of new suppliers on the system
- Collaborate with wider finance team to maintain accuracy and integrity
- Support implementation of new processes and systems
