An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Professional to join a leading organisation based in Bedford. You will join a small, friendly hard-working team on a full time permanent office based basis Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.

Responsibilities:

  • Management accounts up to TB
  • Profit / loss on sales equipment
  • Accruals
  • Pre-payments
  • HMRC
  • Depreciation
  • New nominal accounts
  • Working with company accountants
  • Monthly wages - Pension contributions
  • Purchase Ledger - supplier payments
  • Credit Control
  • Sales Ledger
  • Sales invoicing / month end - new sales accounts / credit check
  • Banking - daily banking, manual cheques, petty cash
  • Administration duties - remittance reconciliation, order number chasing, purchase order maintenance, insurance database maintenance, vehicle taxation
