Transport Planner Salary: £35,000–£42,000 per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time - In person. Monday to Friday, with one weekend per month on call remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating daily vehicle routes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transport solutions for our customers. Liaise with drivers and customers to confirm delivery times and requirements. Monitor fleet performance and make adjustments where required. Update transport management systems and maintain accurate documentation. React quickly to traffic delays, vehicle issues and last-minute customer requests. Ensure transport operations remain compliant with relevant safety and regulatory requirements. Proven experience in transport planning, logistics or road haulage. Strong knowledge of transport planning and transport management. A good understanding of safety, compliance and operational requirements within the road transport industry.
