We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our growing team within the medical device sector. This is an exciting opportunity to lead cross‑functional projects in a highly regulated environment, ensuring successful delivery of innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have proven project management experience within the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Quality and Logistics.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulatory and quality standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide regular project status updates to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote project management best practice.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct post‑project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Familiarity with project management tools, e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.
- A recognised project management qualification, e.g. APM, PMP, PRINCE2.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
- Prior experience in managing budgets.
- Ability to identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
- Effective issue management within projects.
- Effective change control within projects.
- Experience working within product development or manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the medical device or similarly regulated industry.
- Ability to interpret customer drawings, with some exposure to CAD software.
