Role overview
The Valuation Manager will oversee financial analysis, industry, and market research to support various projects, with a specific focus in the financial services sector. This role is crucial in delivering work of exceptional quality and insight, liaising directly with internal and client management teams. This role would contribute significantly to FRP's goals by ensuring high standards of work quality and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the financial analysis and valuation modelling processes
- Oversee research on target industries, market, and competitor information
- Conduct and manage client interviews to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with management
- Review and present analyses and conclusions within comprehensive written reports
- Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high standards of work quality
Qualifications
- Extensive work experience in valuations, specifically in the Financial Services sector, ideally in a reputable accounting or advisory firm
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or CFA
- Degree in Economics, Maths, Finance, or Business. A postgraduate degree is a plus
- Extensive knowledge of valuation methods such as Discounted Cash Flow, Guideline Company, Guideline Transaction, Black-Scholes, and Monte Carlo
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
