Role overview

FRP Advisory is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Insolvency Administrator to join our Restructuring department. The candidate will have a background in restructuring advisory and insolvency, including administrations and liquidations. This role involves the development and execution of asset recovery strategies in insolvency cases, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth progression of the team’s caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the pro‑active administration of insolvency cases, comprising ADMs, CVLs and CVAs, under the direct supervision of more senior members of the team, in accordance with specific timescales.
  • Produce good quality reports and letters.
  • Complete all tasks and formalities in accordance with statutory deadlines and internal protocols.
  • Maintain an effective diary system.
  • Maximise asset realisations and ensure recoveries are pursued in a pro‑active and cost‑effective way.
  • Monitor, maintain and update checklists on a weekly basis.
  • Take personal responsibility to ensure that any tasks delegated by more senior staff are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Engage in self‑development to enhance technical knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments/new case law.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an insolvency role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • GCSE English and Mathematics ‘B (7)’ grade or above (or equivalent) preferable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
