The Purchase Ledger Clerk plays a key role within the Finance Team, supporting the effective management of supplier invoices and payments. The role ensures accurate invoice processing, timely supplier payments and contributes to maintaining strong financial controls across FRP's operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices using Microsoft D365 Business Central
  • Liaising with office locations to obtain purchase invoice approvals
  • Assisting with supplier queries relating to invoices, payment dates and allocations
  • Reviewing supplier statements and requesting/obtaining copy invoices as required
  • Supporting weekly and monthly cheque and BACS payment runs
  • Reviewing the aged creditors list and chasing invoices for Direct Debit payments

Qualifications

  • Purchase ledger experience is essential
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central (desirable, full training provided)
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a finance team
